Adam S. Forsythe (b. 1981) is a Bristol-based painter whose work builds an unfolding imaginary world. Sweeping, cinematic scenes sit alongside single figures on quiet grounds, populated by cryptids, impossible plants and half-seen creatures. Each painting is a fragment of a larger story, inviting the viewer to step inside. His work has been exhibited across the UK, Europe and North America.
