Yuming Lu (b. 1997, Shandong, China) is a London-based artist working across sculpture, installation, photography and moving image. He completed an MA at Central Saint Martins in 2025. Drawing on his experience as a gay Chinese migrant in London, his work explores desire, race and power within gay culture. In recent sculptures, salvaged car parts stand in for the body: polished, masculine and seductive, yet damaged, holding eroticism and vulnerability side by side.
