Emans91 is a Rome-based contemporary artist working across painting and muralism. Moving between the studio and the street, he brings the visual language of large-scale public works into more intimate, object-based pieces.
Drawing from graphic design and street culture, his work centers on the human figure - hands, bodies, and everyday gestures - as a way to reflect ideas of labour, care, and emotional pressure in contemporary life. Friends often ask if the recurring character in his work is a self-portrait. It isn’t - but the emotions it carries are his. There’s an honesty in the feelings the figure expresses, even when the image itself remains anonymous.
Alongside his studio practice, Emans91 has created public works and collaborated with international brands and institutions, positioning his work at the intersection of contemporary art, urban space, and visual culture.
